This translation is mostly the KJV, but includes changes  to replace misspelled words,  obsolete words, obscure words, and  makes changes when the meaning conflicts with the consensus of the majority of other translations.  In general, I found the KJV by far the best-- the only sensible translation to build upon.  The so-called modern translations often  failed to recognize the importance of many metaphors  and other literary devices that their so called "modern reading" changed to shallow junk.  This translation incorporates the best of the following sources:

Joseph Smith's "New Translation" of the Bible
